On December 11, 2007, Sir Michael Vick was sentenced to 23 months in jail for dogfighting. Now come on people, let’s not lie. We all know that there has been a time or two when those four-legged fur balls have gotten out of line causing us to smack ’em around a little bit like Vick did. The only difference between the rest of the population and him, is that this fool can play some ball! Returning to the league after his, let’s just say “time off”, Vick is now in his second season with the Philadelphia Eagles. In just six games this year (not all starts), Vick has 11 passing touchdowns and 4 rushing touchdowns, all the mean while not throwing an interception nor losing a fumble. Yesterday he became the first player in NFL history to throw for 300 yards, run for 50, throw for four touchdowns and run for two touchdowns in the same game. Mr. Vick is finally proving to people that they should begin to recognize him as an amazing athlete famous for beating the hell out of opponents . . . not animals.
