Final George Pics of 2010.

FINAL GEORGE PICS OF 2010

You didn’t think I was going to let the year just tick by without one more George Pic did you? 2010 was a great year for George (as far as pictures go). With the cramming of girls into his room and lots of party opportunities, a lot of great shots came from wherever he was. Here are some of them to sum up the year.

Here we have George surrounded by what looks like girls. One of George’s favorite activities is to go into his room, invite a bunch of girls, and then forget how they got there. Here we have him taking a nice snooze on his home made quilt while the ladies around him pose for the camera. Looks like the one in the corner didn’t want to be captured, makes sense.

Looks like this one came from the same night, sometimes you can find George diggin’ for gold as if he was a San Francisco 49er (the name originated from the Gold Rush in California). Hopefully he got was he was looking for. I will be spending time with George tonight as we bring in the new year and hopefully none of this is happening.

And for the 3rd and final photo to wrap up 2010.

Everyone in the circle of trust knows this, George is a huge Michael Jackson fan (R.I.P). He is also a huge fan of starring at nothing. In this picture we have George glancing down at the floor while someone else is petting him. Now after very thorough scientific studies, experimentation shows that usually dogs, cats, any household pet, or babies get petted. Now with this photo evidence we can conclude that George does too. His phone is also in his hand indicating that he just typed a message that made no sense.

Happy New Years George and I’m looking forward to seeing more great images in 2011.

Get to know Logics “Young Ghangas”

We’ve done plenty of features on local talent in Seattle here on the Fresh, but this man grinds… no really. One of the hardest working Emcess in Seattle, Logics is always doin’ shows, making new music, and being heard all around the Puget Sound. Recently Logics performed at the EQPT store in Seattle and has a lot more coming your way. Check out the latest video of his below to catch up on what’s he’s been doing and where he’s going. Keep it up Young Ghangas, Seattle needs a movement like yours.

For more videos of Logics past, present and future click here. You don’t want to miss this.

Also here’s Logics latest freestyle over Mac Miler’s “La la la”, pretty dope stuff, Fresh-U certified.

Macklemore – “My Oh My”

Macklemore comes through with a serious Seattle Mariners anthem inspired by Dave Niehaus and the ’95 Seattle Mariners team.  Song definitely brings back the glory days and makes me wish the M’s were good again, great song if you’re from Seattle. Download the song here.

I had to.

Local Talent Alert: BenniB at the Grog Shop (Live)

Now since we’re based out of Seattle, Wa we gotta show some love to the local hip hop scene out here. BenniB has been putting music out non-stop recently and finally got to do a huge show at the Grog Shop in Cleveland, OH opening up for Mac Miller. Not too long ago we posted an article about Benni B’s new mixtape “SoDo Dope”  which you can listen to by clicking here and now we want to give you raw footage of his performance in Ohio. Check it out below, pretty cool stuff, I-Phonic joins him on stage too.

Make sure to cop that BenniB SoDo Dope Mixtape on Datpiff today!

Reggie is Back!

Oh yeah that’s right tonight vs. the Zags Reggie Moore will be back in full effect for the Washington State Cougars. Reggie has been sitting out the beginning of this season due to a left wrist injury. Last Friday he got in against the the #5 Kansas State Wildcats for 38 minutes to drop 10 pts, dimed out 3 assists, grabbed 2 steals and 2 boards. This was all coming fresh off that injury against the number five team in the nation, this man is ready.

Photo taken from i-Phone at Kansas State game

The final verdict on how much he can play will come after today’s shoot around at 3 o’ clock. I’m sure he will be in most of the game again and beast on the zags to get the Cougs a win!

After contacting a close personal friend of  Reggie about whether or not he is ready tonight the only response I got was

“Is the Sky blue?”

So check out the Cougars tonight as they take on the Gonzaga Bulldogs at 8 pm in Beasley Coliseum.

Nex Mixtape! BenniB- SoDo Dope

Seattle’s very own BenniB has finally dropped his new mixtape SoDo Dope. This local talent teamed up with I-Phonic to create a banger on this one. What’s it called? Oh well you’ll just have to download the mixtape to find out.

Sol: The Ultimate All Around Emcee

So to answer your question, Yes we have featured Sol before. He is a local rap artist from Seattle, has swag out the roof, and delivers amazing super intelligent verses. Speaking of intelligence, you should hear this man’s college resume. He’s currently a student at the University Of Washington with a 3.94 accumulative GPA. That’s really impressive considering he is a double Major in American Ethnic Studies & Comparative History of Ideas with a minor in Diversity. He also has a departmental honors in the AES Degree. Yeah that’s a mouthful, which explains why every word on every verse Sol lays is backed up with the wisdom of a seasoned vet. Check out Sol at SolSays.com or follow him on twitter account name @Solzilla.

You can catch Sol doing lots of shows in Seattle or on Kube 93’s Sunday Night Sound Sessions. Here’s the latest interview from Sol on upcoming projects and what he has been working on.

George Pic of the Week #4 (Snorlax Edition)

Ahh yes it’s that time again. George (who is now the sports writer) graces us with a Snorlax edition of “George Pic of the week.” If you know George, he likes to fall asleep early a lot. He used to think that staying up past midnight in college was a big deal. I think we are going to start doing double pics of George every week because for every expression, there are multiple images. I would show him this post but he is probably already sleeping by now. Then again that triptophan in the turkey does get to all of us sometimes. Hope you enjoyed this week’s edition of “George Pic of the Week”

Justis is in the Building!

You already know Justis is taking the Seattle scene by storm. This local talent is doing shows everywhere and getting his name out to the masses. Personally I could listen to this man all day, his lyrics are inspirational and carry a lot of deep meaning. So look out for more music from Justis and the whole DBE movement. Here’s some footage of Justis performing ” Return to Sender” at EQPT in Seattle for their clothing release party. Don’t forget to cop the newest EMNACE gear at EQPT. Enjoy the show.

King Felix Gets his Crown!

Despite the Seattle Mariner’s horrific 61-101 record (29 games behind the AL-West champion Texas Rangers) Felix Hernandez was awarded the AL Cy Young Award. Hernandez lead the American League with a 2.27 ERA in 249 2/3 innings pitched. Due to terrible run support, Felix was only able to obtain a 13-12 record, but was very impressive in those 13 wins finishing second in the AL with 232 strikeouts. The King received 21 of 28 first place votes, followed by Tampa Bay’s David Price with 4, and finally New York’s CC Sabathia with 3. I guess better luck next year fellas . . . FELIX IS KING!

George Pic of the week #3

My friend George

“Funny Face/Open Mouth Look”

Yes Yes Yes…Another week with two George pics. For those of you new to the website, this is my friend George and he loves to look funny/crazy in pictures. In this week’s edition I tried to capture the “open mouth/funny face” look. On the left George just decided to bust out a classic smile out of nowhere. On the right he is eating a pizza, someone snaps a photo, and he says ” hey don’t take pics of me eating”. At least that’s what I think went down. Enjoy the photos above and look at previous George Pic posts by just typing “George” into the search bar. Have a good day!

oh and here’s a video of George’s new girlfriend. Comment and let me know what you think.

COEUS CLOTHING. Check these guys!

“The original concept for this clothing company began in December 2009 as a Seattle based venture that transformed into more than just a clothing company. With heavy influences in the music and arts Coeus Clothing looks to expand itself into a cultural icon that transcends the established boundaries of creativity by producing sophisticated apparel, sponsoring local events, and being involved in the communities that Coeus Clothing has brought together.”

I met these guys at a local show here in Pullman. It was for the Sol x Andre Nickatina shows. Their designs are really something special, capturing the rebellious life aspects of the youth and mixing it with a hip hop new age style. The sky is the limit for these designers, looking forward to seeing some more products.

The Pack is actually putting on a show at Central Washington University (don’t bring 4 Lokos) where COEUS clothing reps will be attending. Check the flyer for more info.

Visit coeusclothing for more info. These guys the truth!

Digg the sweatshirt guys and hope to be gettin’ one soon. Good Work.
